Resource Center

All who are lost, hurting, or in need may find the love of Christ here.

The Waitsburg Resource Center exists to serve persons and families in the local community by responding to physical, relational and spiritual needs as an expression of the Gospel of Jesus Christ; through the providing of tangible resources, or information and referral to resources that will best serve our neighbors.

About the WRC:

The Waitsburg Resource Center is sponsored in Waitsburg, through the Christian, Presbyterian and St Mark’s Catholic churches. The Board consists of Bret and Bethany Moser, Krista McKinley, Ted and Lavonne Bren, Marge Benson, Heather Duncan, Dena Wood, Pam Conover, and Marci Perkins. Marge and Heather faithfully organize volunteer scheduling, food pick-ups, reports, food drives and the list goes on and on.

Individuals and community clubs graciously donate monies, food, personal hygiene products and volunteer hours to the Resource Center. Because of the communities continued contribution to the Waitsburg Resource Center we are able to purchase foods, provide healthy snacks for children, weekend food backpacks for school students, sponsor the dental van and summer activities for children. The Resource Center serves on the average 130 neighbors per month and distributes 1300 pounds of food.

With your help from community contributions, we look forward to continuing serving our neighbors’ needs.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him.  Romans 15:13
